I’ve noticed that other reviewers make criticisms that are unfounded - for example the tray DOES swing over backwards to put the child in, or to use as a high chair without tray. The straps are adjustable to fit any size, they can be removed (using a screwdriver) if you need to wash them. The mystery front strap (which doesn’t seem to go anywhere) actually anchors the tray - the instructions are, indeed, minimal. So some of the one or two star reviews are based on that person not being able to see how the chair is meant to work. I find the chair very well designed and it fits in perfectly in our white and light wood dining area (we are new grandparents). The quality suggests it will last for years and I hope it will serve several toddlers over the next decade.

I got this highchair as its soil wood. I love that it reduces the microplastics that my son is in contact with. I wish I didn't have plastic straps but what would the other material could be used. He loves it and it's so easy to clean! It honestly is so steady my 10 year old removed the try and sits in it! I love it and I'll keep it for my grandbabies one day. My MIL has one very similar that has lasted almost 40 years

I bought this highchair for my 8month old grandson when he visits. The quality is 5 star, with smooth and very well finished wood construction. It folds easily for putting away when he is not here. The 2 special points are; the tray can be easily changed to 2 positions, either for sitting at table, or a tray in front 0f the child for him to feed himself, and the footrest can be altered to 3 different heights for comfort, according to size of child. The harness can be adjusted and removed for washing. The chair weighs 7kg, so stable even for the most active child. I would certainly advise any parent to buy it It is very good value and will last for more siblings.

Lovely looking seat, well made, but hard as hell to use. Gotta have tray in down position before seating child and child back out before raising tray. Be far better if tray lowered and raised with child already seated. Already sold this half price!

Please do not buy this product, it has been a waste of time and money and not safe! The catch of the belt is cheap and doesn’t work My baby was chocking and couldn’t get her out The table doesn’t go over head so you can’t get them in and out easily. Very uncomfortable without a cushion. It also arrived damaged as well! Horrendous product

We're in love with this highchair, and so is my baby! Firstly, it arrived really quickly, and it's already put together. There's literally nothing to do once you removed it from the box. I love how the tray flips from the front to the box. Very clever, so it's easy to push up against the regular table to use as a chair, or to use as a highchair proper. The wood looks really nice. Clean and simple. Looks much better in the house than the plastic ones do but isn't as pricey as Stokke and the like. Affordable, good solid wood, easy to use, super functional. There's really no downside. I'm sure we'll have it for many years to come through many different children.

It looks lovely. It’s a very attractive high chair in our dining room. It looks much better than a plastic one. But I do regret buying it. It’s heavy. Yes it folds away but I can’t pick it up and carry it easily to where I want it so have ended up leaving it out anyway. It is especially impossible with one hand while carrying a baby on the hip! The tray area is small (for baby led weaning). The straps are the most irritating. They don’t go through any shoulder slots so both straps just slide from side to side over the top of the back rest. But worst of all is the buckle. I can’t undo it! It’s so stiff it (really!!!) hurts my fingers. I’ve been managing to undo one of them then I slide my child out sideways so I don’t have to try and undo the other. Potentially dangerous as I couldn’t quickly get my baby out if she were choking! It must be the cheapest part of the high chair but by far the most important! Clearly scrimped on. There are other similarly priced wooden high chairs that look like the straps are better.

Es kam schon fast fertig zusammen gebaut, was super. Nach 5 min stand der Stuhl. Es ist schnell zu zuklappen und kann in einer Ecke verschwinden was ich liebe. Der Gurt lässt sich leider schwer schließen, sonst ist alles gut.

Ich bin Tagesmutter und hab Hochstühle gesucht, die stabil, aber platzsparend und schnell zum wegräumen sind. Pluspunkte - er wird fast fertig zusammengebaut, gut verpackt und schnell geliefert - er steht sehr stabil, durch die Gumminoppen rutscht er überhaupt nicht. (Achtung bei größeren Kindern: wenn diese sich mit den Beinen beim Tisch wegdrücken kippt der Stuhl eher um, als dass er wegrutscht) - die Sitzfläche wird verriegelt, daher besteht keine Gefahr, dass er versehentlich zusammenklappt - verwendet man das Brettchen, so verriegelt es, so dass das Kind es nicht anheben kann. Außerdem verhindert ein Gurt zwischen den Beinen ein Durchrutschen - der Stuhl kann ohne Brettchen direkt an den Tisch gestellt werden, dann klappt man das Brettchen einfach nach hinten - es ist ein Gurt fix angebracht, mit dem man das Kind im Sitz fixieren kann (ich verwende nur den Unterteil, da ich finde, dass sonst die Bewegungsfreiheit zu stark eingeschränkt ist) - er ist optisch schön und gut zu reinigen Negativ - Die Gurtschnallen lassen sich sehr schwer öffnen und scheinen nicht sehr hochwertig zu sein Für meine Zwecke ist er ideal. Wer einen mitwachsenden sucht, der auch für größere Kinder geeignet ist sollte beachten, dass die Sitzfläche nur 32cm breit ist.
