I bought this seat to use in my Mercedes A35 hatchback which has Isofix connections for child seats. I have been using another child seat which swivelled around so that you can place the child in and out easier without having to twist your back as we are not the youngest grandparents. This new seat is very easy to install and just uses the cars rear seat belt as security for the child. I have used the other smaller seat since the child was a baby up to 3.5 years but now he finds it uncomfortable because the angle that he has to sit in the seat, but this new one is more suitable and is more like a normal seat in how you sit in it in a more 'upright' position. It is also easier to place the child in and out of it but gives good safety at the same time. I paid around thirty pounds for this which is very good value. Would recommend for children from the age of 3 upwards as long as they are fairly tall.

I needed something for my sons transport to school thar they could store in their boot. I didnt want him to be without a car seat and the isofix one I had for them wasn't compatible. This is extremely light and although it doesn't have the same safety rating as a sturdier unit, it still seems to provide reasonable comfort and support. Pros: quick to install - they just sit on it. The existing seat belt loops through the slots as they are strapped in. Has cup holder which can be popped away inside or pulled out. Cons - it does rely heavily on the safety of the car e.g. the protection an adult would get being normally strapped in. There is no significant side impact protection or reinforced areas. Overall- it is doing exactly what I need it to and at least he is comfortable and relatively safe in the back of his school transport.

Replaced car seats for grandchildren in my 8 seater car. These were very easy to put together and lightweight so quick and easy to put in and take out of the car, also store easily when stacked and laid on their side in the car boot when needing to remove them for adults to travel in the car. Due to this seat being slimmer than most standard car seats they fit much better on the passenger squabs (seat base) and my young passengers can fasten themselves in easily now. (ages from 8yrs to 3yrs). Adjustable head and armrest height makes these seats far more appropriate for safety and comfortable for children of varying heights, head has side support if children fall asleep and seatbelt guide in the headrest ensures seat belt stays in correct position over shoulder and neck area so does not irritate when worn. My grandchildren love them and they look great, colour is fabulous and matches my group 1 car seat for youngest grandchild too. These were an excellent choice for my family.
